1. Methi/ Fenugreek seeds
Fenugreek or methi dana imparts many health benefits. It’s has soluble fiber which helps in reducing cholesterol especially LDL, controls blood sugar levels and helps lose weight by suppressing appetite if taken soaked overnight on empty stomach in the morning.
Note: Do not consume more than a tablespoon of fenugreek seeds in a day. Do not use this product without medical advice if you are pregnant. Teaspoon of methi seeds are advices to take in the morning.
2. Amla / Indian Gooseberry

Note: A small amount is often used, as too much of it will overpower milder flavors in the dish.
4. Curd
Eating curd everyday will help in reducing cholesterol levels, thus lowers the risk of high blood pressure and hypertension. It helps in keeping the level of cholesterol balanced and the heart healthy.
Note: Curd consumption at night is not recommended by Ayurveda because it causes mucus formation.
5. Peanuts
Peanuts are rich in protein, fat, fiber and Magnesium.
Daily intake of groundnuts can help in reducing bad cholesterol (LDL) and improves heart health. According to studies, groundnuts are a great source of Omega 3 Fatty acids and vitamin E, which helps in preventing the blockage in the arteries
6. Ghee/ Clarified Butter
Though ghee is rich in fat, it contains high concentrations of monounsaturated Omega-3s. These healthful fatty acids support a healthy heart and cardiovascular system. Studies show that using ghee as a part of a balanced diet can help reduce unhealthy cholesterol levels.
Many people use ghee as a butter alternative if they are intolerant to lactose. In addition to being lower in lactose, ghee also contains higher levels of butyric acid, a short-chain fatty acid that has been shown to have anti-inflammatory effects and healing on the gut lining.
